JRComms is headed up by Jessica Roberts, a global internal communication and employee experience consultant. For almost 20 years, Jess has helped businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors use the power of internal comms to connect with employees - head and heart - and make big things happen.

Meet Jess


Internal comms was never a career I had mapped out at an early age. In fact, I didn't know it existed until my early twenties. What I did know, however, was that words - and how we use them - are powerful.


I trained as a journalist and went on to specialise in Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins, enjoying stints at fashion titles including Elle and InStyle. It’s there I was exposed to the power of PR.


After moving back to Wales (my home), I stepped into Public Sector PR and spent 10 years leading in-house comms teams in local gov and social housing. 


From there, I joined McCann Synergy (part of McCann Worldgroup), a specialist internal comms and employee engagement agency, working as a Senior Employee Engagement Consultant on global accounts.


For almost 20 years, I’ve partnered with an exciting and varied set of clients helping them build internal comms teams, define employer brands, and create stand-out employee experiences.


Clients have included: Sky, Fuller’s, Aldi, Just Eat, Experian, Zalando, Vodafone, Wales & West Utilities, Viridor, DFS, Amdocs, NHS, and more.
